At Long Last (Into the Great Wide Open)

Hello Everyone,

Yes, at long last I've managed to post some of the photos from my journey into the great wide open. I feel am I ill qualified to either describe or articulate both that which I have experienced, as well as the profound affect that such experiences have had upon myself. Were I to look back many years from now and attempt to recount the rare and wonderful times that shaped the fabric of my character, there will surely be no doubt within my grey-haired head that these past months (and all the years they contain) shall be regarded as no other. To everyone out there on the road; in the woods, fields, and meadows; and to those who've only just this moment opened the great door, I thank you.

Best,
Dylan

An Appetizer...

Hello again,

I'm still painstakingly sorting through the images from my journey and figured give a little appetizer for everyone.  I would have the best images up already but there's been a wonderful array of technical difficulties to sort through (ever pick sand out of a memory card? One grain at a time).

Anyway, this image is from Cardwell, Montana, just east of the Continental Divide!  What you can't see in the photo is the plague-like horde of mosquitos that greeted my companions and I.  Fun, crazy times that witnessed me swatting at the vampires like a crazy person... to the great amusement of all those who were there to witness it.

Much love to y'all.  I miss you.

"They've all come to look for America...."

Hello all,
I've just recently returned from a bit of rambling about and (as promised) will be posting some images very shortly. For those of you that follow this blog (ha!) send me a message if you'd to review any images of you prior to them being posted here for THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE.
I hope all is well out there for everyone in the great wide open.
Best,
Dylan

Letters from America- Pt 1 "Oh Ya..."

As I write this, I am recovering from a lengthy ride across part of America's heartland over the past 72 hours or so. Thus far I've seen and encountered a myriad of fascinating people. From Adam near Albany, to Sunshine in Amsterdam, to Billy and Paul outside of Syracuse, as well as Katie in Honeyoe Falls (I may have misspelled the name of that place where we so leisurely lingered).

All is well so far, I hope to have images, ideas, and observations up sometime this week.

Stay tuned
